Snow Sports Northwest

2020-21 Season Fall Update

Safety, Fun and Learning, in that order.  These have always been and will always be the core values upon which we base everything we do here at Snow Sports Northwest.

The ongoing COVID pandemic has introduced new challenges that will require significant adaptations to our operations if we hope to maintain our standards for each of those core values.  First and foremost is the safety of our guests and our SSNW team.  We are exploring whether we can make operational adjustments that will comply with federal, state, local and area guidelines, and still maintain what we believe is an acceptable level of risk for all.

But safety isn’t the only consideration.  The mountain experience will be quite different this season than we are all used to.  Area operations, social distancing on lifts and in lift lines, reduced lift capacity, lodge and restroom restrictions, parking, limited dining options and locations, required face coverings and their effects on communication, social distancing in meeting areas and during lessons…  These are just a few of the issues we are facing this season.

We are currently examining all of these factors and evaluating whether we believe we can still deliver a mountain experience that meets our standards of quality.  This includes all of our core values; Safety AND Fun AND Learning.  We will update this site as soon as we have any additional information regarding our operations for the 2020-21 season.

Thank you!
Jim, Brad and the whole SSNW crew
